The survey research aimed to study the desirable characteristics of nursing graduates,
Faculty of Nursing, Ubon Ratchathani University. The samples were 56 nursing administrators,
register nurses, and clients. The rating survey with a scale from one to five was used as a tool to
measure the graduate characteristics in 7 aspects developed by TQF framework, including
characteristics according to the university identity, with the reliability of .98. The data were
analyzed with mean, and standard deviation. The results of this study revealed that the graduate
users had highest level of opinion with the mean score of more than 4.50. The three top aspects
with highest score were ethics and moral ( = 4.76, S.D. = 0.58), interpersonal skills and
responsibility ( = 4.75,S.D.= 0.48) , and nursing practice skills ( = 4.68, S.D.= 0.56).The
findings indicate that Faculty of Nursing, Ubon Ratchathani University should be improve the
graduates to have the desirable characteristics by giving an emphasis on ethics and morality,
interpersonal skills and responsibility and nursing practice skills.
